Sound Bite PR is a specialist boutique communications consultancy for the restaurant, food & drink, hospitality and tourism industries. We are based in Central Scotland with clients throughout the UK.  We pride ourselves in offering our clients sound advice and consulting with integrity.

Sound Bite PR is headed up by Martha Bryce and Jessica Sneddon who’ve been in the PR business for a collective 30 years and have their fingers on the hospitality pulse. They were recently included in Code Bulletin’s 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality. They are supported by Emma, Francesca and Abie; PR, marketing and social media experts in Edinburgh and London.  

MARTHA BRYCE

Martha Bryce started her career working with small, family run food producers before moving onto work at the press office at Edinburgh & Lothians Tourist Board.  After transferring to VisitScotland, she managed the PR for Southern Europe and then food and drink PR with UK-wide media.  Since setting up on her own, Martha has worked with a huge variety of food producers, hotels, festivals, heritage and arts organisations. With a dual passion for the food and tourism industries, she’s worked to promote businesses of all sizes with a range of practical tips and a particular knowledge of the UK’s lifestyle media.  Martha also coordinates regional food group, Food from Fife.

JESSICA SNEDDON​​

Jessica’s love of the hospitality industry began at Edinburgh’s prestigious five star Rocco Forte hotel, The Balmoral, where she was PR and Marketing Manager (and where she met her chef husband and Martha for the first time!) She went on to work with some of the UK’s leading food & drink and hospitality agencies managing clients across the spectrum from big consumer brands like Mars to foodservice businesses like Nisbets to Michelin starred restaurants and burger chains. Jessica has an in-depth knowledge of the restaurant industry, helping to co-ordinate the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts in Scotland, as well as being on BBC Good Food Magazine’s trends panel.
